Here’s what it looks like to collaborate with MERT :
Phase One
Fill out MERT’s contact form and provide all the exciting details about which menu options you’re interested in or any project ideas you have. From there we’ll schedule a discovery call.
Phase Two
We'll connect for a discovery call where we can get to know each other. I’ll learn more about the services you’ve selected from the menu or what specific Brand Support you’re looking for. Following our call, I'll send over a personalized proposal and quote for you to review and accept. Once you're ready to dive in, we'll handle the paperwork and initial deposit.
Phase Three
Time to officially kickstart the creative journey!
During this next initial phase, you’ll provide all necessary existing branding files, materials, and general information by uploading them to a shared file drive that I’ll provide to you. I also welcome any visual references or inspiration you have as well. All will be added to my design arsenal to create your project(s) ! From here I’ll begin developing your project(s).
Phase Four
After working on the first round of your creative project(s), I’ll prepare a PDF of the work to present to you. This will serve as a check-in to ensure all creative work is on track and to your liking. You’ll have time to review the PDF and send over any thoughts or edits you have so far.
Phase Five
Next up is the refinement phase, where I carefully consider your feedback from Round 1 and fine-tune your project(s) as needed. I'll make any necessary adjustments, ensuring it captures your vision perfectly.
Phase Six
After you’ve given the green light and approved your project(s), I spend some time exporting all your final files and preparing any guidelines that will accompany your finished project. These will both be sent to you for downloading.
Phase Seven
We’re all done! Now it’s time to celebrate your completed creative journey and your brand new project!

Depending on the service selected will determine what information will be required. We’ll discuss this more in depth during our discovery call, but here are a few breakdown examples for some of my specialized design services:
Business Cards:
1. Any existing branding files and guidelines: Main logo, secondary logo, brand elements, illustrations etc.
2. What type of card are you interested in? one-sided vs. two-sided?
3. What company are you planning to purchase them through?
4. All information that you would like provided on the card: Name, Job title, contact information, etc.
5. Any specific elements or colors you would like included and any visual inspiration images you may have for your future business card.
Image Compositing:
1. All files and images at their largest size that you are interested in compositing together (and ensuring that all imagery is yours to use, in accordance with with copyright)
2. Any information and details for extra imagery or stock you may need sourced to add to your composite
3. Your vision of what you want your final image to look like
4. Where you plan on displaying the final composited image : a print to hang, an avatar profile photo online, within another digital project, etc.
5. The required size and resolution of the final image.
